My Creative Space...

....has been heat affected this week. With temperatures over thirty degrees every day it's been hard to knuckle down and finish off things for the upcoming market.

and although I feel like I haven't done much I probably have. I'm trying now to finish each project so that at least I have one thing I can cross off the list, rather than five that are unfinished!

There are bunny girls begging for noses and eyes.

Brooches that need tags.

And these lovely 1950's stamps, found at the market, want to know what part they will play.

With all these demands, the crazy heat & internet issues it's time for a quick trip to Tipperary Springs with the dogs. A bit of fresh (hot) air and a dip of the tootsies in that cold, spring water I'm sure I will come back refreshed and ready to roar.

Back at Dandelion H.Q. I find a bundle of wilting bunnies, better put the air con on.

How is your creative space today? Find some lovely spaces here xo

I love that little pile of bunnies slowly getting ready for market. Great idea to finish things off before starting new projects, I'm working on that theory too.

lovely! i bet it's hard working with hot bunny fabric on a hot day, or it would be for me... the swimming part looks fantastic!

Now wouldnt it be nice if we didnt have anymore heat waves. I know my plants definately dont like it and neither do my puppies! Your puppies look as though they have the perfect swimming hole. The poor little bunnies will have to survive a few more days of hot weather too like the rest of us! They look so cute too. I really love the picture of your house too Beck, it looks beautiful and relaxed.

That bunny in the pink cardigan looks so sweet - but boy she must be hot!
Here's hoping a few cool days come soon so you can get stuck into it all again.

It's amazing how draining the heat is. I laughed at you trying to finish each project. I'm not sure if it feels more productive or unproductive to have lots on the go...?? Good luck with the list crossing off... and with keeping cool. I think you should dip more than your tootsies in!

Oh it all looks so idyllic! It's sunny here today but cold and strangely still damp! I'm with you on the finishing one thing at a time - trying to do that too. x

Those bunnies are absolutely gorgeous!
I really enjoyed your "together" post below too about your family - it's really so true. We mums really do set the "tone" for the family so often. Thanks for your comments on my blog too :)
I hope you have a lovely rest of the week, and that you find some relief from the heat soon.

Such sweet bunnies and lovely photos. Hope the heat eases up a little soon, could be a long hot summer I fear.

I have been so looking forward to another Daylesford Makers Market trip and can't tell you how PEEVED I am to discover I can't make it. We're talking tantrums and door kicking. The only mature response I could come up with. In the meantime, I'm guessing this is a bad time to order a bunny?

Love the bunnies. Its always a toss up between starting something new and finishing something off isn't it!? Nothing like a cool refreshing swim to get that motivation going though, its a necessity in this heat.

Wow, the only reason I am not cross about your summer (even if it's too hot) is that our week and a half of rain has finally stopped, and I have doors and wondows open again!

But I do agree, too hot is no fun. I have posted about your super gifts to me today!

Same here-productivity has ground to a halt ! I am also trying to finish each individual item rather than tackle sections of the whole lot....Still not sureit is working. To heat -adled to make sense.

It seems so strange to hear you talk about the heat. We're starting our winter months here. I love the bunnies. What do you do with the old scrabble tiles? I've just gotten some and don't know what I should do--I've seen some cute ideas, but can't recall them now.

Your photos (especially the lavender view of your front door)are just so beautiful - I love coming to visit to rest my eyes and my soul. I think I want a heart on my front door. I love people who welcome friends and family when they drop by instead of having to always call and arrange it first.
