The entrance to our house is not grand, that's for sure. But the front of our house is friendly and that is one of the things that I liked about it when we first saw it. Today there is a ballet dress hanging out to dry as it is ballet day and we can't find Rosie's 'official' leotard. This one will have to do! Also there are two bags of horse poo that my friend Michelle dropped off. They are destined for the herb/flower garden.
A pram that needs to be sold. Does anyone want a twin Mountain Buggy? Let me know if you do.
The shadows of the decorative iron makes pretty shadows on the wire door.
It's going to be hot again today so shadows are welcome.
And of course the heart on the door. This is special, I love the heart shape and what it symbolises. We love friends and family popping in, our front door is almost always open.

that glass pattern is beautiful! shadows r delicious in the midst of a sunny day, expecially if they are dancing shadows. that first photo is really lovely, looks like a nice cottage style house.
Just love the glass on the door and the old lattice work! These kinds of details make my heart sing. That first photo with the tutu is really gorgeous and I adore the heart.
I used to make recycled wooden hearts and have had one on our front door for a few years...love it there makes me smile!
just lovely..the heart on the door says it all!
Gorgeous ... fairies, hearts, shadows ... sounds splendiferous ;)
Love your front door view Beck, how lovely with a big verandah. We love our front facade too as it looks country and quaint although Daylesford is a much nicer place to live. Im sure the horse poo will help all the vegies and plants brighten up in this horrible heat.
What a lovely post , I'm so glad I knocked on your front door .
You know I want that pram! I love Rosie's little leotard blowing in the wind. I wish I was coming through your front door for a cuppa...I'm sick of catching up through our blogs, I miss you. XX
I love the path to your front door and the beautiful iron work. The cute fence and gate is really so homely and comforty.
A lovely Aussie cottage. I would die for wrought iron like that (not really!). Cherrie
I love the metalwork above your door! What a lovely family home...
That's iron work along the roofline?!? It is GORGEOUS!

What a lovely welcome!!
Bags of horse poo add so much to the atmosphere. Well I'd be over the moon to find a few bags of horse manure waiting for me.
It was supposed to reach 33 degrees here in Tassie today but I don't think it got past 20. and now it is raining...oh well good for the garden.
The heart is a lovely idea...hmmm I wonder what I could put on my front door.
