Hey, hey, hey, it's a Dandelion Giveaway!

Hi lovely friends! How is your week going? I have been SO tired but am feeling a bit better today. The girls helped me with some bunny business this morning, there are two new bunnies in the shop and I will be putting more in the shop this week so keep an eye out!

There is this little sweetie pie

and this pirate fella, both can be sent asap, ready for Christmas! I will be adding more bunnies every day, a lovely purple girl, and a sweet pink one too. Oh and the baby blue one...& lots of others!

And as I'm feeling so happy and festive today,

and also as a thank you to all my lovely friends out there, I have decided to have a giveaway! Woo hoo!
I also noticed this morning that I am almost up to 300 posts, and have almost 300 followers! That's pretty exciting too.

So here's the thing, all you have to do is tell me a little about your favourite toy from when you were a child.  Do you still have it? What was it's name? I loved my toys and still do. Helen Holiday, Floppy, Knitted Horsey & Looby Lou were some of my faves. If you are a follower you get an extra entry of course. The giveaway will be drawn next week so you have plenty of time to enter.

You might win one of three things! This green bunny that my helpful assistant is snuggling with,

.... or this dear bunny above, or one of my Susannah dolls, pictured below with Sunday!
Thanks for all your comments & thoughts this year, I always love to hear from you. I love the support, humour, kindness, generosity & love that is out there in blog land, what a wonderful community it is.

Good luck & see you soon! xo

What beautiful bunnies! I have just come to you from flowerpress:) I had many favourite toys when I was little but my favourite was joey - a baby boy doll who went everywhere with me and who was later adopted by my niece who renamed him joey rosebud and dressed him in pink. 30 years on Joey is still around and is still looked after by my now 21 year old niece.

They are so cute - and glad you are feeling better! Count me in!!

My favourite childhood toy is a red donkey which I still have in my cupboard! Did a post about him ages ago here: http://www.paisleyjade.com/2008/07/my-most-precious-childhood-toy.html

My favourite toy was my baby doll Susie. I still have her today and she is dressed in a pink layette my beloved Nan knitted for her. Whenever I look at her it brings back wonderful memories of my Nan sitting in her lounge room knitting away, chewing PK gum and stopping to rub Nivea cream into her hands every now and then.

Oh they are all so adorable, your girls must have lots of fun giving them snuggles before they get sent to their new homes! I do remember my favourite toy, a panda which became a bit beraggled in the end with his ear falling off and eye falling out but I did love him. I asked what had happened to him and mum had thrown him in the rubbish bin. Poor Pandy had no say from me whether he should have been tossed aside but I never did forget him.

Gorgeous work. I've always been creative and itching to draw. My favourite toy was my craola caddy. Three tiers with all the colour crayons a girl could dram off. I used the gold and silver the most.

wow! I know I shouldn't but I have to! your creations are just amazing & I can't wait for the kids to open up their little bunnies on Christmas day.
I don't really ever remember having a childhood toy, we moved around so much & I don't think we kept many things growing up. That's why I feel like I owe my kids something they can cherish from childhood.

many hugs to you Bec & sooo sooo great to see you on Sunday ♥

So sweet & generous of you. Congratulations on 300 posts!
Your bunnies are delightful.
When I was little I had a teddy named victor. He was given to me when I was born & now he sits in my little one's room.
I'm happy to hear you're feeling better.

I still have most of my toys from childhood (and my brothers) so lots of lego, playmobil, fabuland, duplo, barbies. But my 2 fave childhood toys (I cant pick!) would have to be my Mattel My Child, I picked one with dark hair and called her Trudey after my mum! and bought her with my westpac mony box full of coins, a huge $45 back in the mid 80s when I was 5 or 6, and 2) my mattel baby love and touch Mum bought in the early 80s for me, and she was the perfect size baby for a little girl, but I sadly lost her when I was 12 but found a replacement online many years later and just was so moved to hold her in my arms again!!
CONGRATS on the 300 and 300!!

Congratulations on the 300s Bec - I love to read your blog, I'm always popping by even if I don't comment much (forgive me!). I still have my favourite toy, a little soft toy "Lady" dog (from Lady and the Tramp), but I called it "Pommy" because it had a Made in England label on one of its feet. I lost it in the bank once, it seemed like I had lost it forever, and then we were re-united and I found myself surprised to find you could cry with happiness. I distinctly remember that moment of my childhood. :)

Awww what a lovely idea!
My favourite toy is my Humphrey B Bear teddy from the 70's which I still have even though I've moved house about thirty times. He has a really hard plastic yellow hat which has caused quite a few injuries over the years, and in true Humphrey style, he has no pants!

Wow your bunnies are fab dear Beck. My favourite toy is still Campbell the Camel. He's a bit squished (flat!) and pretty scruffy but he is wonderful. My dad bought him before I was born and when he took it to the counter at Myer more than 30yrs ago, the lady asked him if the camel was going to a good home. I'd say travelling the world and spending every night with me was a good home. I have bought a camel for my bub too :o)

such a lovely post again - thank you! I had a lovely teddy unimaginatively called "little ted" - my big sister had a "big ted". Mum looked after him during my early adult years, and now he "belongs" to my daughter, and has been renamed (Morris) by her...
thanks for a lovely giveaway, and wishing you and your family a happy christmas!

I don't actually remember having one special toy when I was young. I do remember at Christmas time one year though, my dad made a crib out of metal and mum decorated it with pretty shiny orange material. She also made pretty clothes for a doll she had picked up from somewhere. Times were tough back then, but I treasured this gift lovingly made by my parents.

Congratulations on your 300th all round. Your have a lovely blog and your little bunnies are adorable.

Aaand I`m your 300th follower! congrats! The bunnies are so adorable; i`ve fallen in love with the blue one at Sunday`s elbow...

As a child, I never particularly favorited one toy. All the toys were loved equally. There was Lambchop, a ty beanie that got quite old and nubbley... I still have her. There was Mousey, a squeaky mouse toy witha light up nose. I lost him in a dollar store. I could go on, but I really had a lot of stuffies.

My favourite childhood toy is my Bun. It is a white rabiit (that has since lost all his fur, except inside his ears)that was made by my nanna. She made him from a white fake fur stole for my Auntie, that was rarely worn due to the amount of fake fur it shed all over my Uncle's suit!!!!! She made all my cousins one from different recycled fabrics like Grandpas's jumpers! Several years into his life, and on a sleepover at nannas she decided to wash him. Sadly he lost his sleek appeal and became quite lumpy (he is stuffed with crumbled foam)I still love him and keep him in a basket in my bedroom though, and think of my dear Nan when I look at him. I even made a portrait of him in Uni art class with oil pastels! The theme being my favourite childhood toy! Must blog about it some day. Sorry to ramble on, but thanks for the trip down memory lane xxxx

What a generous giveaway, your bunnies are all so beautiful!

As a child I had lots of handmade toys as my nan was a fantastic knitter so it has been so lovely to pass these onto my own children.

I guess the two toys that stand out the most for me were my blue and yellow teddy bears, they use to come everywhere with me, teddy bear picnics, school sports days you name it. It brings back lots of fond memories to now see my boys playing with the same bears and one day maybe even their children might play with them.

When I was small I was obsessed with pale blue teddy bears. None of them are still in existence as I wore through three with excessive love and "furring" them as I dropped to sleep :) When I was a little older the toys that had been handed down from my mum and aunts were very special to me. It was like they had a fascinating back history and had accumulated extra love over the years.

I had four favourites. The first was a pale blue teddy, which I loved til it disintegrated. The second was a soft dolly with a hard head, named Natalie. I loved that doll, and when I got a brides dress for her one Christmas, my world was complete! About the same time I also had a tall doll whose auburn coloured hair would "grow". She had a winder for a belly button that you could wind her hair back in with. She was very glamorous. Then finally I got my first and only Barbie. She had bright red hair. I wonder if the hair colour of those dolls had any subconscious effect on my marrying a red-head??? Now I have red-headed children to play with....hmmm, interesting...

Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous photos of your girls and the bunnies. My favourite was/is my yellow teddy in her purple crocheted frock. Love her and only stopped sleeping with her when Bren came along.
LOVE those Suzanna dolls so much.

i love reading your blog, thanks for keeping it up in what must be a busy life for you! and if we were lucky enough to win one of your bunnies or susannah dolls i have no doubt they would be well loved at our home.
My favourite toy growing up was my Snoopy. I had many outfits for him and my Pa helped me make a little wooden wardrobe for him to keep all his outfits in. I would also make shoebox cars to pull him around in. I didnt like dolls, it was all about Snoopy for me as a kid!

I had a doll named Margie. Poor girl was a bit sad looking, my brother pulled out her eyelashes.
I don't know what happened to her, but she's no longer around.

Oh this is fun! My oldest and favorite toy is my teddy bear Hunny that i received when i was born(i'll be 56 on Sunday!)She was not only loved by me all my life, but she was also loved by all my sisters, and my first born played with her too! A few years ago her stuffing disintegrated and i had to do a bit of surgery on her and gave her new polyfil stuffing, and she is as good as new. Well, her fur is rubbed off on many places on her body, but she still looks great! And i still love her...Thanks for the giveaway! Merry Christmas!

When I was 9 I was given by a French lady a set of 8 tiny boxes and each one contained a little dog of the movie '101 Dalmatians'. This was in the beginning of the '60 and this toy coming from far. far America was very exotic. I still have it!

Your bunnies are adorable! My favorite toy growing up was the dollhouse my dad built for me when I was five. I would spend hours rearranging the furniture and playing with the little family that lived in there. I still have the house and can't wait to give it to our little girl to play with once she's old enough!

Oooh! I do hope I win - my daughter would be over the moon with that little red and blue bunny!!
We are both big fans of your bunnies and must admit to spending ages picking out our favourites!
My favourite childhood toy was a doll called Sparkle-eyes. I cut all her hair off bit by bit at the 'hairdressers' but she could sit on my hip like a real 'baby'. I still have her in the attic. I used to take her on the 'bus' (our stairs) and feed her too. She is now over 40 years old!!!

I love the dark grey bunny you've done - absolutely gorgeous! Much love, Jennie.x

You know how much I love your bunnies!! My favourite toy as a kid was actually a huge bunny that stood about a metre tall. He wore orange overalls and he was my best friend for ages. I have no idea where he came from, and I've never seen one again the same. I think he went to the Salvo's when we moved when I was nine. I wish I still had him. Have a lovely week!

My favourite toy was one of my younger sisters. Unlike a doll, my sisters cried when i pulled their hair, which was much more fun than just pretending.

How is it that I haven't commented here, better late than never!! My favourtite toy is hard to choose. I'd spend hours upon hours playing in my room with all my dolls (which I still have!) barbies were always great fun, I'd set up my dressing table & that was their grand mansion, a friend gave me a campervan which I'd take travelling outside over the hills & set them up for a few days at a time. Then there are my mums bridesmaid dolls, all dressed in the same fabric that she used for her real bridal party. The most special though I think is my baby doll that my nana bought me when my brother was born. She looked so real & mum would make her the prettiest clothes.

So exciting. I love a giveaway. Your bunnies are so sweet and I can't wait to meet little Mu Mu, when she arrives. Let me know when she's up on the site.

I've added myself as a follower, although I usually find you through Google Reader.

Have a great week.

Am I too late to enter? I hope not! I love your bunnies and would love to add to our collection of 1!

My favourite toy was a blue teddy, that I am pretty sure I just called "teddy". He used to squeak- But after a few rounds of childhood vomits and goes through the wash, he lost that skill. And a couple of eyes too. He had a hand knitted red and white jumper too that has since gone missing. I still have teddy though.

My favourite toy was a blue monkey that still lives on my bed. He's lost an eye (again; I did fix him once before about twenty years ago) but I just cannot bring myself to get rid of him. I saw him in the toy shop and asked my mum if I could have him. She said no. The following day I went into town with my grandfather and he very kindly bought him for me...
