My Place & Yours: Bedside

I'm playing along again this week with Pip's fun meme. I'd have to say my bed is probably one of my favourite spaces. It's my sanctuary, my (hopefully) peaceful place. My bedside table is a good place for a cup of tea, books and things that inspire or make me smile.

Here are some scrabble letters that may turn into something else for the upcoming Daylesford Makers Market.

There is always something(s) to read as well. At the moment I'm reading this fabulous book.

This is my 3 year old kinder photo, taken when we lived in Kallista in the Dandenongs. My mum made the dress I'm wearing. And probably cut my wonky fringe. For some bizarre reason I tried to burn this photo when I was five...also the year I ran away from school and painted my brand new, white shoes.... red!

Here is my honey and me when we were young & wild & free.

(Before we went crazy and had four children in six years...)
That's me folks, I'm off outside to enjoy some of this magnificent weather!! Wow, how gorgeous is this sunshiney day? May sure to check out some other people's spaces here xo

Aww, look at you, so cute. But what a little rebel painting your white shoes red, perhaps you were inspired by Dorothy and wanted some ruby slippers.

I ended your post in giggles. Four kids in 6 years is amazing. My hat goes off to you!

I love your bedside. It tells a lovely story about you. It looks so cosy and sweet too.

All those little pieces of your life ....gorgeous! I took 8 years to have my four, all growing into amazing adults now.

Gorgeous Beck. I just adore that picture of you a little bit older than Rosie. I'm very interested to see what those scrabble tiles become. I love that your room is your retreat.

What a lovely bedside. I love the look of that embroidered pillowslip, or something like it on the right there...just stumbled in here - nice to meet you and your lovely blog.

What a cutie you were Beck. It is nice to see you on your blog, although I must admit that I never put my own picture on my blog. I am sure that every little girl wants a pair of red shoes. My sister had a red pair of Mary Janes when she was little and I remember wishing that my feet were smaller so they fitted into them, lol! I hope the beautiful weather continues too.

I can tell. You were one great big handful when you were young and wild and free (and I'm not just referring to the bit before the four kids in six years)...

I love the photo of you as a little 'un. The dress that your mum made is so adorable, my mum made me some dresses when I was tiny and I'm pretty sure she cut my fringe too - the photos never lie!!!
Inspires me to make a frock for my little 'un!

I love the story or impression that your bedside table gives me of you. I tend to be a bit of a neat freak so mine is clear, except a lamp and alarm clock. Even my book has to go away in the drawer!
