Fleamarket Finds

I've had some great op shop adventures lately. So much so that I'm inspired to put together an op shop guide to Victorian Op Shops. Watch this space! This lovely dress was found in Bacchus Marsh, at the Salvo's. They had a great range of vintage dresses and other bits so if you have the time & love vintage it would be well worth the visit.

These rods were only one dollar at the fabulous Trentham Op Shop. Hours of fun, yay!

I've just finished this ace read, picked up at the MS Op shop in downtown Daylesford. A great book, I really enjoyed it.

Finally a pair of 50c Converse from the Uniting Care Oppy in Ballarat, near Big W. They also have a great range of other cheap and fantastic items, definitely worth a visit. Rosie loves her new shoes, she can jump & skip & run so fast in them. Woo hoo!

Have you found any great things lately? Pop over to Sophie's for more treasures...xo

It seems your an op shop angel finding all these wonderful wares. You should have come for a visit when you were in Bacchus Marsh and had a cupt of tea. There is another op shop in the Marsh next to Foodworks supermarket too which donates to the hospital!

Those rods are a total find. now you just need to keep a look-out for some kind of fabulous xontainer for them...

I had an excellent op-shop morning myself yesterday - kid-free, so a really leisurely wander. It made me laugh when two other women and I dug happily through a pile of old floral flannel sheets for at least twenty minutes. I'm sure many people would just not compute how that would be an enjoyable morning out!

50c converse! What a bargain and you don't need to rub them up against the car tyres to give them that worn look. It's already done for you. xo

Aaaaaaaah, I have a bit of a love/hate relationship with Opshop guides - on one hand I do indeed love them, for they inform me of havens I haven't found, but on the other I loathe them, for telling everyone about the secret gems! I suppose I should give you a grudging 'good luck' all the same. ;)

Ooooooh yeah, pink cons! I've got me some of that action, also opped, nice.

I love the dress. You are definitely a good traveller - tretham, bacchus marsh, ballarat...well done. Bacchus Marsh isn't too far away so perhaps I need to pay a visit to their Oppy!

Rural Victoria definitely seems to be the place to visit judging by your finds. They're great. I definitely need to visit Bacchus Marsh because Metro Melbourne is crap!
