Aw, I wear my shoes into the ground too. Now, what about your red ones with the needle and button? I'm sure they were on your blog the first time I even 'met' you. I've wished for a pair like that ever since!

Oh bless these old friends. I do the same thing to my shoes, wear them to death, and not throw them away.
Love this post

Awwww.... it's sad to say farewell to a beloved pair of shoes but always a thrill to replace them!

I love a pair of shoes that have lived a busy and exciting life, and those definitely qualify Beck. I bet they feel like an old friend :)

there's nothing better than a very familiar & comfortable pair of shoes with amazing paths travelled!
but ...it's always fun to go shopping for another 'perfect' pair.

Naaaaaaaw.... this makes me a little sad because I absolutely know the feeling. The feeling of looking at your beloved shoes on their very last legs (ha!) and wishing that on the day you got them, oh so long ago, you had bought ten more pairs.

Rest in peace faithful footwear, we shall remember you!

Thanks so much for playing this week!

I wear my shoes until I can't wear them anymore but I have NEVER gone to the lengths you have. It's quite impressive really. A bit like Violet and her gum chewing.
