My Creative Space

At the last Maker's Market a lovely woman asked me to make two Bunnies in Beds for her twin daughters. The bunnies are to be special birthday presents for the girls are turning three in early February.

Fast forward to the end of January and guess who is a bit absent minded? Yep, but I'm on the job & am whipping up those bunnies as we speak.

Cutting them out and choosing fabric for their ears & skirts.

Oh & juggling four end- of- school- holiday- bored & tetchy kids. Lets just say that the conditions are not ideal for clearing thinking, organised making!
Good thing I've got the nights to sew too.

Tomorrow we'll get the Jigsaw out and make the beds. And paint them. And make up the bedding - little patchwork bedspreads I think!
So, it's going to be a busy few days but I"m so excited to be making twin bunnies! Yippee! Hope you are having a creative day, for more spaces pop over here xo

They are just the sweetest bunnies I think I have ever seen! With their little hot water bottles and their cosy beds. Lucky twins, I say.

I just adore your bunnies! Can't wait to see your twins when they are finished. Your fabrics are gorgeous, too. I know what you mean about getting things done with end of holiday kids hanging about! Mine are doing a good job of keeping busy but they're getting very short tempered with each others inability to 'play' a game properly!

Hi, I am your magazine swap partner For Floss's magazine swap, you have an adorable blog and can't wait to swap with you. Floss mentions the pink, it really is not a necessity, a favourite colour of mine tis all. Do you have any preference on styles, choices of magazine, do let me know. I have quite a pile that you could choose from. Also what season would you like

Love your bunnies and what yummy fabrics! It looks like you have a collection of vintage ones too. I totally know all about trying to "create" while trying to care for & entertain children. Good-luck for the last days of school holidays.
