My Creative Space

Morning!! Here's whats going on in my space today...lets face it, it's been a while between bunnies. I have several orders to fill (including a ballerina bunny), the shop is looking a bit empty and it's time to get back into it. Do you like this combo above?

I've been finding some sweet & inspiring pieces in the oppies lately. I love the colours in this linen teatowel,

and I'm finding there are lots of yellow & blue themed prints about. Maybe I'll make a quilt with these colours, could be fun.

Which reminds me I better get onto Sunday's quilt cover, I've just done a bit of a makeover in her room and a pretty vintage bedcover will look so lovely. She has chosen her pieces and I have cut them out so maybe today I'll sew it up. Such a satisfying project.

On a sad note my little chook lover is in mourning today as little Lemonade has gone. She disappeared overnight and cannot be found anywhere. We are all going to miss our little white ball of fluff.

What else is happening? Well it's Sports Day next week so I'll be ironing on some initials to four red tshirts, come to think of it make that three. Billy isn't so into sequins and glitter. Speaking of which this weekend will be an exciting one for us Daylesford folk as it's Chillout weekend!! The largest annual Gay & Lesbian Festival in Australia is coming to town, woo hoo!! It's pretty exciting and fills our town with lots of lovely people, all here for a good time. Lets hope the weather is good too. I can't wait for the parade, it's always so colourful and fun. What are you up to today? I've got long list of things to do so I better get cracking! Hope yours is a happy & productive day, thanks for popping by xo

I think doing a quilt with fabrics that they can help pick out is so rewarding, but they usually want them finished in 25 secs!
Feeling very sad for Lemonade

Yay for splits!

But poor Lemonade. I hope by some miracle she comes home to roost.

I VERY MUCH like that combo!

Sad about Lemonade. I like to think of her off on an adventure somewhere. Not all chooks like to come home to roost day in day out! Perhaps she craved a break from her routine and will be back shortly? x
